Short Description: Our firm, Tri-Power Consulting Services, LLC (TPC), seeks a W2 employee to work as a Structural Engineer ($68/hr). The Hybrid position is as a contractor for our Electric Utility Client based in South Plainfield, NJ and has a duration of 2 years. Some responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Perform complex civil / structural calculations and analysis, prepare construction drawings, including steel, aluminum, concrete structures and foundations, design and detail steel transmission structures, including both lattice steel towers and tubular steel poles / structures. Some requirements/Qualifications: B.S. Degree in Structural / Civil Engineering, minimum of eight (8) years of experience in civil / structural engineering, including design and field / resident engineering on major civil / structural construction, alteration / renovation and modification projects, experience in performing complex civil / structural calculations and analysis.
