The position is as a contractor for our Electric Utility Client based in Lawrence Township, NJ and has a duration of 2 years. Some responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Maintain the GIS connected model with information from sources including, but not limited to, work management systems, as-built construction drawings, work orders, completion records, field reports or other information from the job sponsor, Track lifespan of utility asset data, including history, inspection and attachments, perform GIS work pertaining to major projects such as facility relocation , load rearrangement and new business. Some skill requirements may include: Utilities’ Transmission and Distribution systems, various operating and maintenance handbooks and manuals insofar as they pertain to his/her work, including the safety rules and practices set forth therein, must be able to work at various locations of the company based on business needs/workload, experience updating, editing, modifying geospatial data within a map.

Some responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Perform and oversee program and project QA/QC as required; Apply knowledge in energy savings measures and techniques to program and project oversight, Coordinate and direct the activities of vendors and contractors. Review vendor deliverables. Monitor vendor performance and review/process vendor invoices. Required Qualifications: B.S. Degree plus 9 years of experience in the space of energy efficiency programs, construction, or related fields. In lieu of a degree, 12 years of experience in the space of energy efficiency programs, construction, or related field.

Some responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Perform complex civil / structural calculations and analysis, prepare construction drawings, including steel, aluminum, concrete structures and foundations, design and detail steel transmission structures, including both lattice steel towers and tubular steel poles / structures. Some requirements/Qualifications: B.S. Degree in Structural / Civil Engineering, minimum of eight (8) years of experience in civil / structural engineering, including design and field / resident engineering on major civil / structural construction, alteration / renovation and modification projects, experience in performing complex civil / structural calculations and analysis.

Some responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Support the Distributed Power Systems Group in the analysis, planning, and integration of Distributed Energy Resources (DERs). Support hosting capacity analysis, power quality studies, distribution system studies, DER screening methodologies, and planning/system operational studies. Some requirements/Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering- Power System Engineering, minimum 5 years of utility distribution engineering, distribution planning, or DER integration experience, advanced proficiency in CYME, including advanced analysis modules.
