Job Tittle:  Staff Accountant
Pay per hour:  $28.00 (W2 Contractor)

Hours per week: 40 hours a week 
Contract Duration: 1 year

Location: Hybrid/ (currently 2 days per week to Newark office (any days), with the possibility of increased in office expectations this year)

Job Description:

Prepares balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.  Responsible for analyzing trends, assisting with special projects as required, analyze costs, financial commitments, revenue and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.

Job Responsibilities (but not limited to):

• Prepares balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
• Make recommendations on policies, systems and procedures.
• Must have thorough knowledge of accounting methods, principals, practices and the ability to apply the knowledge.
• Responsibilities also include analyzing trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.
• Assist with special projects as requested.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated communication skills (verbal and written).
• Demonstrated ability to apply and follow job related policies and procedures.
• Proven analytical and problem solving skills.
• Persistence needed in order to resolve problems quickly.
• Ability to work independently in team oriented culture.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in accounting is preferred, experience in the field or in a related area.
• Minimum 4 years work experience with strong accounting skills

• Handle high volume data

• SAP and Blackline systems experience preferable but not required
