Location: Hybrid- South Plainfield, NJ (Come into the South Plainfield Office 3 days a week otherwise work Remotely)

Job Description:

The Senior Procurement Analyst will manage the procurement of Construction Services for the company's Capital Projects portfolio. Manage the procurement process for Civil, Electrical and A/E purchase orders, contracts, renewals, continuing to re-source recurring contractual commitments and manage emergent work in support of operations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Being the procurement Subject Matter Expert for multiple business units or at the Enterprise level where such expertise is useful in leveraging procurement activities.
• Work is primarily focused on planned and emergent work within a single business unit, although the ability to apply expertise across business units is desired
• Supplier identification and qualification
• Procurement sourcing
• RFP preperation
• Bid evaluation
• Negotiation, materials and services contract development and administration
• Material and service planning
• Manageing internal expert review protocols, preparing and issuing purchase orders

Requirements:

• BS/BA degree plus 5 years of procurement, supply chain management experience
• Experience analyzing proposals and negotiating with suppliers to purchase materials and services
• Experience integrating scope and commercial requirements into contracts and purchase orders
• Valid driver license & ability to travel
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word

Desired:

• Experience with ERP systems - Ariba, SAP, CLM
• Experience working in a teaming environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated client satisfaction history
