Short Description: Our firm, Tri-Power Consulting Services, LLC (TPC), seeks a W2 employee to work in Engineering/technical ($45/hr). This hybrid: remote/on-site position is as a contractor for our Electric Utility Client based in Newark, NJ and has a duration of 15 months. Some responsibilities may include but are not limited to: provide engineering support for energy efficiency projects for various energy efficiency programs, with a focus on energy savings estimates, responsible for reviewing technical designs and estimate savings of multimillion-dollar projects based on technical resource manuals, and sound energy engineering principles, responsible for reviewing, overseeing, QA/QC of small and mid-sized projects, as well as overseeing models and processes to ensure that projects are cost effective. Required: B.S. in Engineering, minimum of 2 years of experience related to Energy Efficiency Projects or Project Management of construction, HVAC or mechanical projects in Industrial & Commercial sectors, must be knowledgeable of Commercial & Industrial and Multifamily energy savings measures and techniques, familiarity with applicable industry standards (ASHRAE, NJ Technical Reference Manual, etc.), building codes and best practices.

Some responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Maintain the GIS connected model with information from sources including, but not limited to, work management systems, as-built construction drawings, work orders, completion records, field reports or other information from the job sponsor, Track lifespan of utility asset data, including history, inspection and attachments, perform GIS work pertaining to major projects such as facility relocation , load rearrangement and new business.

This Hybrid position is as a contractor for our Electric Utility Client based in Newark, NJ and has a duration of 1 year. Some responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Perform and oversee program and project QA/QC as required; Apply knowledge in energy savings measures and techniques to program and project oversight, Coordinate and direct the activities of vendors and contractors. Review vendor deliverables. Monitor vendor performance and review/process vendor invoices. Required Qualifications: B.S. Degree plus 5 years of experience in the space of energy efficiency programs, construction, or related fields. In lieu of a degree, 9 years of experience in the space of energy efficiency programs, construction, or related field.
