Short Description: Our firm, Tri-Power Consulting Services, LLC (TPC), seeks a W2 employee to work as a Procurement Contract Manager ($62/hr). The Remote position is as a contractor for our Electric Utility Client based in Newark, NJ and has a duration of 2 years. Some responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Supplier identification and qualification; procurement sourcing; RFP preparation; bid evaluation; negotiation, contract development and administration for materials and services, sourcing, coordinating related purchase orders with the nuclear procurement operations team, following the appropriate Procurement processes and Enterprise policies related to sourcing of contracts for the company. Some Qualifications include but not limited to: BS/BA degree in Procurement or related field or 5 years of similar procurement work experience, experience in a procurement organization with contracting for materials and services and negotiating with suppliers required, general knowledge of nuclear and industrial improvement projects, general knowledge of UCC & Contract Law.
