Job Title:  Planner Scheduler (Material Analyst)


Summary: 
Our firm, Tri-Power Consulting Services, LLC (TPC), seeks a W2 employee to work as a Planner Scheduler.  The position is as a contractor for our Electric Utility Client in Edison, NJ, however, currently all work will be remote. Top Skills Preferred: Experience in Supply Chain, knowledge of materials management for Utility Industry and proficient in the use of SAP materials management module. Required to have a bachelor’s degree and minimum 5 years’ experience in developing & analyzing analytical models with minimum 1 year experience with Audit or Sox.  Please apply today. Thank you.

Job Description 


• Manage inventory to Demand and month on hand target.
• Manage assigned category of materials and perform analysis for forward looking material forecast.
• Work closely with asset management and electric and gas storerooms to establish the needs and ensure the material fulfillment.
• Act as primary interface for between divisions and vendors to ensure timely fulfillment of material.
• Manage MRP (Materials Requirement Planning) output to find opportunities for avoided purchases.
• Forecast Inventory impacts based on construction, operating, & maintenance requirements.
• Manage inventory catalog for accuracy and format.
• Develop and maintain a team approach with client population.
• Ensure proper reorder signals and lead time accuracy
• Provide relevant levels of management with in-depth performance reports.
• Execute detailed analyses of quantitative performance indicators and functional practices. Draw conclusions and offer management recommendations for improvement.(Vendor KPIs)
• Support and manage change management needs for Inventory/Warehouse OEM procedures. Assure alignment with the Sox controls, OEM procedures, and the assessment process.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop materials management and purchasing performance evaluation criteria; conduct root cause analysis of performance deviations.
• Develop and implement performance improvement opportunities.
• Develop and maintain a team approach with client population.
• Monitor and coordinate availability, transfer and replenishment of safety related items and emergency stock distribution materials.

Job Specific Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in developing and analyzing analytical models

• Minimum 1 year experience with Audit or Sox.
• Proven analytical capabilities demonstrated through academic or job experiences.
• Computer proficiency working with MS Office suite, database programs, and spreadsheet applications

• Proficient in Excel

• Good communication
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license for travel to Field locations.

Desired:
• MBA or an equivalent Graduate Degree and/or APICS - CPIM and CSCP Certification.
• Experience in Supply Chain
• Understanding of Materials Planning Analytical models
• Understanding of work management systems.
• Demonstrated understanding of inventory management methodology and performance analysis techniques.
• Proficient in the use of SAP Materials Management module.
• Knowledge of Materials Management for Utility Industry
