Procurement Analyst to support the Renewable Energy Solutions (RES) group with an IT focus. Work with Tri-Power as a W2 employee in role of Contractor for our Energy Utility Client remotely and periodically on site in their Newark, NJ headquarters.

Rate: $28/hr.

Duration: 1 year with potential to extend.

Our contingent labor staffing firm is seeking a W2 contractor to work as an Accounts Payable (AP) Coordinator contractor for our large NJ based Utility client in Northern NJ. 

Responsibilities

• Meet with IT and RES team periodically to provide status updates on open projects

• Update the project tracker located on SharePoint as needed

• Update RITMs and advance to the appropriate milestones

• Assist with drafting procurement policy compliance (930) materials 

• Assist with uploading 930 forms in CLM 

• Ensure information provided in the project tracker, the RITM and the 930 form are accurate and aligned

• Follow up with associates / clients re: completion of their review in CLM

• Request signatures from the vendor as appropriate

• Ensure Security Reviews are completed and approved as required

• Track AMI electric meter deliveries and support the escalation of delayed shipments continuously

• Field contract interpretation questions from various stakeholders

• Track AMI meter installation progress and support the escalation of schedule delays

• Track and update ITS insurance requirements for RES team

• Update monthly RES/Procurement joint goal metrics with analytics and actions

Qualifications

Skills: Global procurement operations knowledge and ability to craft Scope of Work, negotiate Terms, monitor vendors and process payment milestones for large construction projects for Renewable Energy Equipment and systems

Education: BS Business with emphasis on Global Procurement

Experience: Procurement analyst experience with IT procurements and IT projects management

Certifications: Supply Chain Procurement Certificate

Example: SAP, Ariba and Oracle exp. a very big plus
