Short Description: Our firm, Tri-Power Consulting Services, LLC (TPC), seeks a W2 employee to work as a Project Engineer ($40/hr). This hybrid position is as a contractor for our Electric Utility Client based in Hicksville, NY and has a duration of 2 years. Some responsibilities may include but are not limited to: responsible for assisting and coordinating the development of RFPs for generation and transmission, directs the evaluations of proposals and prepares recommendations to senior management and LIPA for selection. The projects include renewable and/or non-renewable resources, such as Offshore Wind, Solar, Fuel Cells, Energy Storage and Smart Grid REV, as well as conventional generation. Enjoy ongoing continuous improvement with application of complex LSS tools and comprehensive Stakeholder communication and Stakeholder Management plan. Required: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (desired electrical), minimum of 2 years of relevant engineering experience, clear and concise written and verbal communication skills, adaptability and a results-oriented mindset and leadership capabilities.
