REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Must have a Degree in Mechanical Engineering from accredited US university.
• Minimum of 3 years experience and skill in product design, manufacturing, or engineering services.  
  
• High level Pro/Engineer Wildfire experience.  Solidworks 2010 or later a plus. Must be very good in these CAD packages including surfacing, assembly, shell commands and ability to design for manufacture and moldability.  
  
• Must be able to work independently to design components of a product or system and package them in an assembly
• Projects and client base span all types of industries including Automation, Medical, Aerospace, Automotive, and Consumer Products.

NECESSARY SKILLS:

• Excellent communication skills
• Advanced problem solving ability
• Competence to work as part of a team or on their own from a concept’s creation straight through manufacturing
• Design for manufacturing in area’s such as plastic parts
• Design or maintenance of Automation Systems and Machinery. 
• 3D CAD modeling using Pro/Engineer Wildfire or Solidworks 2010, part, assembly, detailing, and other modules within these packages.
• Mechanical hands-on ability to construct, troubleshoot, or prototype design scenarios.
• Knowledge and use of GD&T
• CAM and CNC Manufacturing, shop,  and/or machining experience  a plus
